Varying in size from 12 to 60 feet in length, these backdrops represent many years of painting for art directors. Usually a team project at these sizes, paintings were done in warehouses then transported, or done on film studio site.

From Dallas, where I was given my first opportunity to paint a wall mural, to Flagstaff, to Taos Ski Valley, these paintings were done for advertising or company storefronts. Blended with oil enamels and large brushes or an airbrush, these paintings demonstrate vivid color possibilities with this paint medium. They range in size from 5 to 40 feet in length.

Landscapes and faux imagery predominate themes in these indoor wall paintings. Whether for a hotel lobby, a major natural food store, an office wall, a hospital wall, or a home interior, these walls were meant to bring about a sense of escape, transporting the viewer into a different scene.
