For the Love of Painting
Painting has always been a personal calling, following an inexplicable drive to blend color and transform line and paint into imagery. With a BFA in Painting, I developed a variety of skills along my path beyond large scale painting, which include illustration, magazine design, and architectural rendering, as well as art education.
I have many artists to graciously thank for guiding me toward large surface painting. Heartfelt thank you to Oregon independent muralists Dan and Mae Hitchcock, North Texas art director Bob Lavalee and John Wolf of theater and film scenic company, Peter Wolf Company. The opportunities under their employ were perfectly timed and tremendously valuable, forever enriching my love of painting.
